We are pleased to present to you our 2015 Annual Report (download a PDF of the report here), which details some of the incredible progress we’ve made over the past year to implement the Foothills Food Access Plan. Some of the highlights of the past year include:
- The expansion of the Winter and Spring Pantry program to serve over 200 students at all three Mount Baker School District elementary schools
- The launch of the Twin Sisters Market, a mobile farmers market that brings fresh, locally-grown produce to multiple locations around the Foothills region
- The submission of a USDA Community Food Projects grant proposal, which, if funded, would support paid staff for the Foothills Food Bank, direct purchasing from Foothills farmers, and more collaboration with partners such as the Mount Baker School District
